ABOUT ASTANA CLUB
The Astana Club will meet for the fifth time on the 11th and 12th of November 2019
This meeting, featuring fifty world renowned politicians, experts and diplomats, will convene in the capital of Kazakhstan.

Following convention, the event will be organized by the Institute of World Economics and Politics (IWEP) and the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy.
The agenda includes the compelling issues of security and the strategic future of Greater Eurasia's emerging geopolitical and geo-economic realities.

During the event's five sessions, speakers will discuss the most pressing trends in the mega-continent's development, identify new opportunities for interregional cooperation, and outline scenarios for the imminent future.
Conceptually, the discussions will revolve around the main title "Greater Eurasia: on the way to a new architecture of global cooperation". As the previously constructed rules and institutions degrade and erode, it is critical to define new contours of the world order, centered on the Eurasian mega continent which is currently transforming into a single interrelated unit.
The second edition of the rating of "Top 10 Risks for Eurasia 2020", prepared by the Institute of World Economics and Politics, will be also presented to the Club participants and the general public.
The first edition of the risk rating highlighted that foresight analytics is invaluable to the expert and media community, prompting the commissioning of the subsequent edition. This analytical product is the result of IWEP's collaboration with over 30 leading world experts.
Today, we can proclaim that Astana Club has turned into a truly global platform within a relatively short time since its establishment in 2015. The platform has garnered substantial international interest. The Club unites Eurasia's key stakeholders in addressing the most critical and complex issues of our time.

Once again, Kazakhstan proves itself an independent and neutral platform for dialogue, open to every member of the international community, including mutual rivals and competitors. In this way, Astana Club acts as a vivid embodiment of Kazakhstan's multi-vector foreign policy.
